Young Adult: $36/month
Adult General: $48/month
Ladies Plus: $58/month
Mens Plus: $69/month
Family General: $104.76/month (2 adults/guardians and all children under 18 living in the home. Those 18 and over must provide student verification to be included under the family membership).
Family Plus: $120.95/month Only those 18 years of age and older may utilize the Plus Change Rooms (2 adults/guardians and all children under 18 living in the home. Those 18 and over must provide student verification to be included under the family membership).

How do I join the YMCA of Lethbridge?
Drop by the membership desk at 515 Stafford Drive South across from the Lethbridge Public Library for a tour and to discuss your membership and payment options.
How much does it cost to become a member?
YMCA fees vary depending on whether you're joining as an individual or family. View our Home page and click on the "learn more" button below the membership type to find out pricing.
What happens if I can't afford the membership fee?
Assisted Memberships are available to those individuals and families that are unable, not un-willing, to pay the full fee for a YMCA general membership. Anyone interested in applying for an assisted membership can call or drop in to the YMCA. To apply for an INDIVIDUAL assisted membership, bring in a proof of automatic subsidy (AISH card, Alberta Works card, a letter from an approved organization). To apply for a FAMILY membership, please request the low income assistance chart to see if you will qualify and bring in proof of income (bank statement, paystubs, child tax information). Do you offer child care while I exercise?
Absolutely! We have a child minding space that allows you to participate in a fitness program while we watch your children in a safe and fun environment. Cost is $5.00 per hour/per child for non-members or guests and $4.00 for members per hour/per child.
Can I bring a guest with me?
You can bring 10 guests per year with your individual membership, and 4 guests per person under a family membership. They may also attend our programs and fitness classes with their guest pass.
Can I visit a YMCA Centre for just the day?
YES! You can buy a day pass for $10.00 per visit. That way, you will be considered a member for the day and can participate in as many programs as you like! You can even leave and come back later in the day!
What do I need to know when I come to the facility to workout?
All members are expected to share the space while working out. Remember to always wipe down your equipment when you are done your workout, using the wipes provided. Appropriate clean shoes are required. No barefeet or socks for safety and hygenic reasons. Please do not wear mid-riff baring shirts or innappropriate logos or texts on clothing. Please do not drop or slam your weights and put your equipment away when you are done. Cell phones are not permitted within the change rooms or washrooms for the privacy of all users.
I'm new to exercise - How do I learn to use the equipment at the YMCA?
New members are encouraged to participate in a wellness orientation with our certified Fitness staff at no extra charge. Our certified staff will show you how to safely use the cardio and weight equipment to allow you to be comfortable during your work-outs.
We also offer Personalized Training Sessions YMCA members receive at a discounted rate. All programs are designed with your specific needs, fitness levels and goals in mind.

What is the difference between the general and the plus membership options?
Both memberships allow access to the entire facility, except for the plus change rooms. The plus rooms are only for adults over 18 years of age. The ladies room has a steam room, vanities, towel service, lounge area and TV. The men’s room has all of the amenities the ladies rooms has, plus a hot tub. If you have a family plus, only those over 18 may use these rooms.
How do I put my membership on hold?
You can put your membership on hold for a minimum of 30 days and a maximum of 120 days if you plan to return to the YMCA. This way you don't have to cancel your membership and pay the sign up fee again. Holds are ONLY permitted a maximum of 2x per year for a total of 4 months per year.
