Daily schedules are developed with the following in mind:

  • Matching the age and abilities of the children.
  • Large blocks of time for child-directed learning through play.
  • Our daily schedule is flexible, although routines such as eating, toileting and rest time are consistent each day.
  • The educators encourage the children to use self-help skills such as independent toileting, setting out snacks and tidying up afterward, helping put sheets and blankets on the cots and dressing themselves.
