About BASC

Cor Van Raay YMCA offers before and after school care for children in kindergarten to Grade 6. However, all positions are currently filled aside from kindergarten level. If you would like to submit a expression of interest, please fill the form below.
 
Transportation is provided for children attending Coalbanks Elementary School, Father Leonard Van Tighem School, and Mike Mountain Horse Elementary School.

We are accepting children to join our 2025-26 school year. We provide transportation before and after school for Coalbanks and Mike Mountain Horse. We provide before school transportation only for Father Leonard Van Tighem.

By joining the waitlist, we cannot guarantee the availability of spots at the time you join. What it will do is place you in the queue. When a spot becomes available, you will be contacted and asked to confirm if you still need the spot you requested by joining the waitlist.

Breakfasts provided by Safeway’s Community Action Fund.

Safeway’s Community Action Fund will be providing a hot breakfast for all students enrolled in the morning section of our BASC program free of charge.
