COVID-19 Day Camps

COVID-19 Day Camps

The YMCA of Lethbridge is excited to be able to offer Day Camp programs for ages 4-12 years old this summer. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Day Camps will look a little different then years past, in which comprehensive Alberta Health Services requirements will be followed.

Summer Camps of 2020 will look a little different than in years past. Camps will not include a field trip component, including local playground access. In addition, following AHS restrictions, camps will be limited to 8 participants per camp, with social distancing requirements during all activities. For more information on AHS Day Camp guidelines, please click here.

In keeping AHS restrictions in mind, we are still excited to offer fun-filled, week-long camp programming which will include swimming, crafts, camp games & sports, gymnasium time, as well as, outdoor field activities. Although things may look a little different this summer, the YMCA will continue to be a place for children and youth in our community to engage in recreation activities, all while meeting new friends, building positive relationships and striving to reach in their full potential.

At the YMCA of Lethbridge, health and safety is our top priority for all staff, volunteers, and participants. We strive to go above and beyond general cleaning processes, to ensure an environment where all users feel safe.

We look forward to spending our summer with you!
