Join us for a fun and exciting experience in our Summer Day Camp program. Spend the summer swimming, exploring the YMCA, and meeting new friends. Participants will have opportunities to go to our pool, gymnasium, Indoor Play, Rec Room, create fun crafts, go outside, go on field trips and so much more each day.

Times of Care program (Pre/Post Care included in the cost of program):

• Pre-care: 7:30am – 8:30am
• Care: 8:30am – 4:30pm
• Post-care: 4:30pm – 5:30pm

Items to Bring: 

• Running shoes or sandals with a strap at the back, water bottle, full lunch kit, weather appropriate clothing, swim suit with towel and plastic bag, sunscreen, bug spray, hat for outdoors, and any allergy or medication needed

Important things to note: 

• Program will NOT include swim lessons but rather free swim times every day
• Summer Day Camp is for ages 5-12Y
• This program is not licensed child care and not eligible for Alberta Child Care Subsidy. Click here to access YMCA Child Care
• Lifejackets and Swim Tests: All campers 7 and under will be required to wear a lifejacket at all times.  Campers 8 and up will have the option to complete a swim test.  If campers do not want to complete the swim test or are unsuccessful in the swim test, they will be required to wear a life jacket.

We are happy to offer payment plans for Summer Day Camp.   Spaces may fill up due to delays of this manual payment plan process.  To access a payment plan, the following criteria must be met:

• You must register by calling membership at 403-942-5757 or Kristen at 403-942-5739
• Payments must be made on a credit card for automatic payments
• We require 1 week of payment per child at time of registration.  This fee is applied to the first week of registration
• Eligible for registrations of 2 weeks or more per child
• The balance owing must be paid 7 days prior to the first day of the week of camp you are registered for (i.e. not the whole balance, only the amount owing for the upcoming week)
• Balances which have not been paid 7 days prior to the first day of the week of camp you are registered for, will result in child/ren being removed from camp registration after one attempt to manually draw the payment, and one attempt to contact guardian to acquire missed payment on the Monday prior to the week owing.

We ask that cancellations are made 1 week prior to the first day of the week of camp you are registered for, for a full refund.  To cancel please reach out to Kristen Hatfield at [email protected] or at 403-942-5739.

In order to receive member pricing, the membership must remain in effect for the duration of the program.  Should the participant cancel their membership prior to the end of the program, the YMCA of Lethbridge requires the participant to pay the difference between the member and the non-member pricing to continue in the program.
