First Aid Certification Courses
The YMCA of Lethbridge is dedicated to provide high quality courses to meet the needs of the Community and Employees. We offer Intermediate Original and Recert courses in Affiliation with the Lifesaving Society.
The Lifesaving Society is an Approved Government of Alberta workplace first aid provider.
To secure your place in this program, payment is due at the time of registration. If you are unable to make a full payment at the time of registration, please contact our Membership Services department by calling 403-942-5757 or by email us at [email protected].
In order to receive member pricing, the membership must remain in effect for the duration of the program. Should the participant cancel their membership prior to the end of the program, the YMCA of Lethbridge requires the participant to pay the difference between the member and the non-member pricing to continue in the program.
Intermediate First Aid CPR-C/AED- 2 day course
Previously Called Standard First Aid
Intermediate First Aid provides comprehensive training covering all aspects of first aid and CPR. This course is for those who want an in-depth understanding of first aid such as: medical/legal aspects, spinal injuries, environmental injuries, bone and joint injuries, abdominal and chest injuries, burns, and medical emergencies. Includes CPR-C and AED certification.
Prerequisite(s): None
Certification Currency: 3 years from the date of certification
