Youth Fitness Programs

Our youth programs are specifically designed to meet the needs of youth.  All programs will improve fitness, strength, body movement and conditioning.  Our 55 minute classes will incorporate functional movements, body weight and mobility to build stronger healthier bodies focusing on proper body mechanics and good technique.

Session Dates: 

  • Fall A: Aug 31 – Oct 24, 2026
  • Fall B: Oct 26 – Dec 19, 2026

In order to receive member pricing, the membership must remain in effect for the duration of the program.  Should the participant cancel their membership prior to the end of the program, the YMCA of Lethbridge requires the participant to pay the difference between the member and the non-member pricing to continue in the program.


Cancellation Policy: In order to receive a full refund, the YMCA of Lethbridge requires cancellations to be made at least 7 days prior to the program start date. Should the participant cancel within the week before the start date, cancellations will be prorated. Prorating is depending on time before program start date.

House of Iron (13Y-15Y)

Intro to Silks (8Y-12Y)

Our Intro to Silks program is designed for kids and teens who want to try aerial silks in a fun, supportive environment. This class focuses on learning basic skills like simple climbs, wraps, and poses, while building strength, flexibility, and body awareness.

Participants will follow guided progressions that help develop upper body and core strength, coordination, and confidence in the air. With a strong focus on safety and proper technique, this class is perfect for beginners and those new to aerial arts.

Come explore new ways to move, build confidence, and have fun discovering the excitement of aerial silks!

Jungle Fitness (8Y-11Y)

Learn to Lift (11Y-13Y)
