Summer leadership training provides youth with the opportunity to develop lasting friendships and learn valuable life skills that help strengthen confidence and build character. Our training combines skill development, self discovery and community engagement with all of the fun of a summer camp experience. Many of the positive skills that youth learn at summer leadership training will help them later in life. Participants will develop themselves and build friendships while learning about our community and getting involved in initiatives that matter to them. We know that an experience like this can be one of the defining moments in a young persons life. Summer leadership training opens doors, exposing youth to possibilities and opportunities. We invite you to grow with us this summer.

Summer Leadership Training

Leadership Training runs from 8:30am – 4:30pm Extended care available from 7:30am to 8:30am and 4:30pm until 5:00pm. Member: $162/week or $134/holiday week Non Member: $197/week or $158 holiday week


**To receive the membership rate, children must be an active member at the YMCA from the time of registration to the end of camp.**

Financial Assistance

We believe that every child, no matter their financial circumstances, deserves the chance to reach their full potential! Our generous donors help subsidize the costs for families in need. To apply for financial assistance, please drop off or send us your complete application form to yp@lethbridgeymca.org. Applications are available here or at the Member Services Desk.

Day Camp Packing List

Please Label All Items

  1. Appropriate clothing for weather conditions (jacket, rain gear, and rubber boots)

  2. Comfortable, closed-toe footwear (running shoes)

  3. Swim Suit & Towel

  4. Hat

  5. Sunscreen (waterproof minimum SPF 15)

  6. Refillable water bottle ESSENTIAL (metal or strong plastic)

  7. Insect repellent (at parent discretion)

  8. Lunch, snacks and drinks

  9. Backpack to store and carry personal items

  10. Please leave electronic devices at home
